Having worked for various scaffold companies in the area current directors Dave Shephard and Martin Wellstead realised that local scaffold contractors were frequently giving poor service.
A relationship between customer and contractor simply did not exist, thus, in July 2002, DaMar Scaffolding was formed.
Specialising in all aspects of scaffolding our workforce is fully CISRS compliant with 100% CSCS accreditted. The company is CITB registered (reg number 3568892) therefore allowing all employees to receive expert training from approved trainers.
Working closely from the inset with our clients, DaMar Scaffolding Ltd can now provide full design, calculations and drawings to ensure that all scaffolds now comply with TG20:08 and BSEN12811.
As from 1st January 2011 the Health and Safety Executive will no longer acknowledge BS5973:1993 as a recognised standard for the design of tube and fitting scaffolding structures.
With the publication of TG20:08 all UK scaffolding contractors should now be working towards compliance of this guide.
